Welcome to Southdown Girls U8-11 web page 2009-10
Training and matches on saturday (10-11.30am) at the Brooks in Burgess Hill and fridays at the Triangle (7-8). Tel 01444 235743 (Ian Male) for info.
We are always keen for new players to join-especially at this age group. We would like to be able to run 2 teams at U11, and particularly looking for more U10s.
Running league teams at U10/11, 12 and 13/14. Also friendly games and tournaments at U9/10.
Girls welcome from Yr 2 to Yr10, new players always welcome. Come and discover the best tea bar in the Crowborough League and a warm welcome.

Oct 24th season update:
U9s played first game today away to Ridgewaye winning 5-2. Great team play with goals from Katie K. (2), Ellie Burrows (2) and Katie B. and great defence from youngest player Abbie Burrows and goalkeeping from Mary M. well done to all.

U11s won 7-1 at Ridgewaye with Hurst/southdown B combination losing 2-1.

Last week we hosted mini tournament winning against Maresfield and Hurst/Down, fighting out a fantastic 0-0 with tUNBRIDGE wELLS and losing to our U12s. Katie K at only 8 played a blinder in goal for Hurst/Down.

Next week its home to Cuckfield.
